It all started with a bad voltage regulator and alternator. Replaced the melted wires in the dash harness to the amp meter a new headlight and turn signal switch and now everything works. All the gauges. All the lights, dome, map, trunk and even the emergency flashers. Last thing was one backup light. Bad ground around the socket to the lamp housing.

Had plenty of those electrical gremlins, turned out to be some bad wiring as well!

Well now EVERYTHING works. I hooked up a glovebox light and just put my reconditioned am radio in. I have to say I'm kind of proud of myself. 45 year old car and I got it all done.

You said it. Took it out today and low and behold, no turn signals at all. Hope it just the flasher or fuse. Didn't feel like screwing with it. Drove pretty good though.

:iamwithstupid: yeah good old Murphy's law... also check & clean both the #1157 bulbs & sockets, wire brush them clean, I always put dielectric grease on the electrical connectors, helps to stave off corrosion/oxidation...

Our old Mopars and no problems are usually mutually exclusive.

It was simple. They were flashing all around outside. Turned out to be a bad connection on the circuit board/ socket on the right and a bad bulb for the part inside indicator. It's all good again
