Forced myself to go work in the garage today, just haven't had any interest lately. Got the headers installed and will tackle the trans mount and transmission tomorrow. Once I get everything centered in the right location I will bolt the engine mounts down. Oh, and these went on with out having to make any dents to clear anything.

Looks awesome. The nice weather helps too.

Nice. Is that motor actually the same color as the car, or does your car happen to be very close to pre-68 Mopar big block turquoise?

The engine is factory turquoise in color, the car is a factory Med. turquoise Poly...AA1 is the number I think.

Very nice man! What's the brand and size of those headers? Also, out of curiosity, did you have to use an engine hoist?

They are Heddman Elite, 1 3/4"...used a floor jack and a 2x6.

Headers......

Nice fit, they look great. I like the paint treatment on the Mopar perf valve covers too....

Car looks good. Engine copartment looks great. I'm thinking of using the hedmans also on my 64.

They went in fairly easy, just a few twists and turns. I still have the entire engine wiring harness to install, trans linkage, new throttle cable, light harness, radiator and a few other things I want to do. Thanks for the kind words.:D

Shouldn't you change your name to "Turq"?

Dam nice car.

Looking good Red. The headers look like they fit great. Be interested to see what plug wires you use.:headbang:

They are stock looking black wires, 7mm and its not so much what but how. A few are pretty close to the headers, probably have to put covers on them.

Glad to hear they went in without any hassle. Car and eng are looking real good ! Ron
