I've been trying to figure out how many GTX's is like the one I have. I know for Fords you can do the Marty report, is there anything like that for Mopars. I decoded the fender tag and it's telling me that this car was already purchased when it left the plant so that tells me it was a special order. I'm trying to figure out how many was produced like the one I have.

anybody got any suggestions

thank you

Given the number of options, it's easier to find a one of one then two alike. Your car is likely the only one built the way it is.

Two: Nothing like a Marti report exists for Mopars. All you can do is find someone with a large data base and compare your car to cars that are known. The Options and Accessories reports help, but you can't cross reference options and determine a number built a certain way.

You don't say what year your car is. I have quite a few 69's on file. Maybe I can help a little.

Ordered by someone does not mean 'special order'. I just means someone sat down and checked off the boxes for what they wanted.

Red with a white vinyl top probably isn't that unusual, there certainly aren't many left like it. Don't forget that somewhere less than 20% of these cars still exist. What color is the interior and where did you get those tires? That is a sweet car, love the '68s!

Yes very cool looking Bumperman and I like those dual striped tires too .. would look neat with the 68 dog dishes and body colored wheels

Coker has dual whitewalls but not in radials

Detmatt1, thank you. The tires was on it when I got it home, this was my dad's car. According to the fender tag it came with redlines on it and that is what I will be putting back on it. The interior is black.

Tallhair, the dogdish hub caps was in the trunk, I found them when I was cleaning it out.

I don't have an iPad but if you are just using your fingers to turn it or rotating the device that won't save it that way. You have to open it with a photo viewer (such as window photo viewer) that allows making changes and saving them, i.e. rotating and saving new orientation.

Thanks Tallhair, in your opinion would you go back with the dual white stripe tires or go with the red stripe?

I think it looks great with those white stripes and I'm not sure they can be improved upon.

I really like those dual white lines and they will be seen way less than the other options of day like the redlines, good year polyglass GTs, Firestone, Wide-ovals etc. btw your car appears to be PP1 which is same as my 68 Dodge

here's another dual stripe option that would look pretty cool
