Yea I had the 493 ready to fire up yesterday about 7 pm. Fired her up and had 90 psi oil press right away. Set idle to 2500 and total timing to 35. Ran about 15 minutes until at 185 to break in cam and then lowered the idle down to 1000. It really sounds mean with this 264 - 270 at .050 cam and feels real strong as I took a ride around the block. No leaks at all and all looks good ! My mufflers gave me trouble as I planned to use my Ultra-Flows over but the clamp crimped the pipes pretty good making them hard to get off the old pipes so I think I will just get new mufflers for it. Went out today and fired it right up so I hope to be cruisin this weekend with it. Ron

Don't you love it when a plan comes together!!!

When are you going to the track so we can see how much it picked up?

Sounds like we've been doing the same thing!!! Congrats!
