Flushing Brake System?

Hey Guys I Need To Replace My Wilwood Master Cylinder With a Stock Style Master Cylinder And Flush Out The Dot 5 Fluid I Originally Put In.

Its Recommended I Use Dot 3 or 4.

just Wondering How I Flush The Brake System?

I'd call up Cas and ask him if it's alright to use the Dot 5.. and I don't see why it wouldn't be. I'd never go back to paint removing brake fluid when you're already running Dot 5

You can use a mitivac vacuum pump or a power flush machine. I have both, both will do the job. Vacuum will tale longer. I like the vacuum for pulling the old stuff out and pressure for pushing the new through the system.

Brake system flushing is done with Denatured Alcohol...

Well then you haven't paid attention.. Denatured Alcohol is & has been the recommended flushing solvent for brake systems since the fifties... It doesn't effect rubber, it breaks down sludge that accumulates in brake systems & it doesn't react with brake fluid...

Denatured alcohol works great . Just be sure to flush system . Why are you taking the Wilwood master cylinder out and replacing it with a stock one . Petal to hard or to soft ?
