Guys I just found this on c.l. and I don't know how I feel about it . It's extremely interesting I like certain parts of it . And hate other parts . But you got to respect the amount of work and fan time in this car and for under $10,000 I think if it was closer I might go after it ! https://fortmyers.craigslist.org/lee/cto/d/1966-chrysler-custom-car/6384507556.html

My first impression is someone ruined a 66 Chrysler to build this thing. But looking at it i agree with the OP that it took a lot of work and if the metal work is done correctly id be impressed with the craftsmanship.
Maybe if its considered more along the lines of art and someones interpretation of what a car in the era represented then this custom becomes better understood. I have no idea and it is not to my taste, but if its in fact built properly, then i can appreciate the skill that went into it.

Obviously, the builder had too much time on his hands and access to lots of drugs.

"Built on a 66 Chrysler PAN"? So they cut the unit body car up and built this on the unreinforced bottom pan? Sounds like a really ugly death trap to me.....

I, and my family, have used the phrase "what in tarnation" all our lives but I never really knew what it meant so I looked it up: “What in Tarnation?” is a rhetorical question (a euphemism) meaning “what in damnation?”, which is often associated with Americans living in the Southern United States expressing incredulous bewilderment.

Now you know.
