For Sale - NOT MINE - Roadrunner Neon Sign on BAT Ending Today

Here's an uber-cool Roadrunner neon sign selling today on bringatrailer.com. It's a no reserve auction ending in 5 1/2 hours. My buddy tried to buy one of these last summer for $2,500 from the owner of the museum/classic dealer across the street from the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY, but it wasn't for sale like most of the Mopars he owned. Current bid = $1,600.

The biggest difference I see between the two is the backing plate on the BAT sale. I did notice after I posted this that the diameter of the sign on BAT is 28". The one my buddy wanted was much larger. I'm going from memory and it was mounted high on a wall in a large room, but I think it was more like 48". I don't see a diameter on the Ebay sale you linked.
