Remember the little drive thru kiosks Fotomat had in parking lots ? Does anyone still have one of the huts by them ? What is in it now ? Got any pics ?

we have one here, like an 8' x 10' "shack"
(former Fotomat) with a 10' x 12' tile roof IIRC
it's a little 1 person drive-thru or walk-up coffee place now
on Washington (just after the old town, main drag)

it always has a crowd, lined up in the AM weekdays

but I've never had their coffee

sorry never took any photos of it either

Now they sell Trump memorabilia and orange sun screen

This was turned into a locksmith near original mcdonald's here in Downey. It was removed a couple years back.

Never saw one in that size.
I work with two guys who worked at Qualex (Kodak) in STL who did all the developing for the Fotomats.

We had a Kodak hut that was 20x32 that had a big developing area in it. My broker bought it and it's now his office. It was by the street not in the middle of the parking lot. Turned out nice!!
