Found 440 engine to RS27L9G171385

I have the 440 long block for your 1969 GTX convertible.
This engine was the last engine that was installed in my car.
Pistons say they are .30 over.
I'm going to be using it unless the current owner of the car comes forward.

The original engine in my former Hemi GTX found it's way back to the car after being separated for over 20 years. Guy who owned the GTX for 31 years finished restoring the car after he found the engine at the 1997 Carlisle Chrysler Nationals. I've never missed that event, and was there, was amazed to see a complete original Hemi running on a stand in a vendor space. I can imagine the look on Dick Katter's face when he checked out the VIN number on the block. He swapped two rebuilt short blocks to get it back.

I hope the block in this post has a similar outcome.

Brad has a list of all known 69 vert GTX’s and that number is not on it.

It would be good if it did find its home again.
Sure would be nice if my hemi turned up.
