Looking for a supplier for a 65 ?

I mostly see ads for 66 and up ?

Any help would be great.

Thanks

I'd spend some time looking around in here. I think you might find the answer

just a thought:grin:

Auto rust technichians(spelling), ART, has what you want.

It's just square tubing. Metal supply companies have lots of it.

If you are gonna make your own, do it out of round, looks trick.

Frame connectors for '62-65 B-bodies - pre-made, E-mail Paul Hamaday at - phamaday AT yahoo.com Delete the AT and replace it with @ to get the correct format. If you have a problem, go to '62-65 moparornocar web site, he's listed there. Not sure if Auto Rust Technicians make them for '62-'65 b-bodys - I thought they were only '66 and up.. Not sure tho.

For my '65, I built my own out of 2X2X1/8 square tubing. No floor notching required. Very, very easy. Just be sure to have the weight of the car on the suspension before welding.

Yep, they got em.

O.K. I`ll bite, why is this necessary ? Getting ready to do my 65 H/T & was gonna do it at a friends who has a hoist to make it easier. Don`t want to do it wrong, sort of a permanent thing. Don.

They help reduce chasis flex,,,,kinda like a full frame car.

Why load the car first ? I thought it was better to have the weight off to eliminate the sag of 40 + years. Can someone explain more ?

I LOVE the Royals

I live in Eastern Canada but have been a Royals fan for ever, George was the Man !!

Believe it or not I have never been to the City, been trying to get to the Stadium for so long... it's a long way from my home..... but plans are to go this Sept... it will be very exciting for me !!

When you lift your car by the frame sections, with the suspension hanging, you will notice that there will be "sag". Try opening a door and you'll really see it because the door will be tight in comparison with it on the suspension. Welding in frame connectors at this point will make it permanent. Just use a drive on hoist or support the car by its suspension and you won't have any issues. Convertibles are really bad about this.

And if you put it on jack stands put them under the rear axle and the lower control arms any were else YOUL be sorry........believe me I know..Artie

I put a set of Paul's frame connects under my 65 Coronet. They were awesome and cheaper than the others. You won't be disappointed in them! To be done right, the connects have to go through the floor boards but they are not as easy to install
