Thanks that is an all stock truck that he redid the red[orange] charger r/t is a one owner car bought new in 69 in chicago by a friend of mine he just finished the restoration in 2011 [vinyl top is the original top from 69] it was a street racer then drag car [he still has the max wedge he ran] then back to a 440 street car.

Lots of great pictures, and cars... Nice looking Cuda you have there, soon maybe the Charger will be joining it on a Friday night cruise? Maybe not this summer but im sure it will be... Thanks for sharing these!

Nice. I like the red Buick ragtop and had forgotten about those GTO's.

Thanks for sharing, Great shots, it brought back some good memories... I love that Hemi Powered 49 Ford Business Coupe, needs some work but it's a cool concept, I had one 13-14 years ago now, when I still lived in Concord, Ca., off Waterfall way, it was slammed on the ground, 17x33's weld super lite wheels, narrowed 9", tubbed, ladders, coil overs etc., full tube chassis, with a 8:71 blown/inj. Milidon Mastodon 526 Hemi, instead of the typical SB Cheby you see in all older rods {although it did start out with a 496 BBC, I latter changed to the Hemi}...

I'm on vacation this week and i finally got back on the charger today passenger side is finally stripped [finished the door and fender today] tomorrow is body work day and primer then on to finishing the roof. we are shooting for a march 2013 completion date so we can take it to Mopars at Merit's [may not have an interior]. We shall see what happens.

I wish you luck for a March deadline! Ive tried that so many times with past cars ive done and never once seemed to meet the date, close but it can be done... You've come along way, i have followed along with your photo-bucket link.. Haven't been there lately but i love to watch the progress on a lot of cars here, ive learned a lot now if i could turn some time back, maybe id be better equipped lol.. Some, a lot of things ive seen on this site is something, things that most would not even think about trying, sometimes i do think the best of restorers can be found right here.

Thanks Ron73, all the work i have done and replacement patches were made with 2-2x4s in a vice as a metal break,a 2 inch round pipe, ballpean hammers, with a borrowed welder-all by a guy whom has never fabricated, welded, done body work, painted, but that was a year ago i'm no expert but i have learned a lot the most useful things i learned was why guys that do this for a living charge what they do and after this i may not do another, i'm friggen tired!!!!!!!!

We are in Palm Harbor Fla. on the coast west of Tampa between Clearwater and Tarpon Springs.
\

My folks used to live in Palm Harbor. Great area but I never felt safe driving on RT 19 due to the blue hairs. :)

HaHa neither do i, i have lived here all my life [except my military tours] and i hate U.S.19 with a passion, i do drive it every morning to work [but at 5:30am it ain't horrible]. In front of the mobilehome park i live in it's 8 lanes wide [not including the 2 left turn lanes].

I'm not crazy about 19 either. I cring when I realize I'll need to travel any distance more than a mile or so on that road.
FL could take a lesson from TX on their access/frontage roads.
The ones in TX allow you to get on/off almost anywhere.
On 19, as soon as you see your destination, it's already too late to get off.

Well they are putting in overpasses on the rest of the major east/west roadways supposed to be done in 2014 [yea right] with service roads to get to busnesses. I used to live in Virginia and they had frontage roads along side the major roads it was kinda a pain if you were not sure where you were going you would have to turn around.

Thanks for info

I will be looking for you at the show next month. This is what I will be driving and with so few Mopars I know you will see it..Thanks again Rick
