just put discs on the front of my 68 sattelite . went with pst cheaper kit , they stop great but ive got some rattling going on ? anybody have a solution ?

Could you describe where the rattle is coming from left or right side? Have you gone through and double checked all your caliper and hose mounting points? Does the rattle go away when you step on the pedal or is it constant? Did you do any other repairs will doing the disc brake conversion (front end work?). Sorry for all the question but I need to see where to start on this issue. If you would like to talk about it feel free to call.

Thanks

Damn...now THAT's what I call customer service!!! :headbang:

Didn't even have to call them! James is like a PST super hero...just out there looking for folks to rescue. :icon_rambo:

Well they get premium prices for their stuff so they should do it.

We are just here to help ( I am a lover or mopars too and a owner of one). I have been the on the other end of the line when it comes to problems with a product so I try to treat our customers with the same respect and response that I would expect. We try to keep our pricing competitve while still providing a quality products at an affordable price. The kit that this member is describing is our kit for $649.00 which in my opinion is a very nice set up and one of our most popular kits we sell. We do also carry a "high line" conversion kit by SSBC too that I just release in our summer catalog. Some of our products may be higher priced then some of our competitors but we back all of our products with a lifetime warranty for as long you own your car and provide free shipping on all products with in the 48 states.

Thanks

Did you figure out what the problem was? I have to agree that after seeing James reply on other threads related to anything to do with PST, he is definitely on his game and provides that extra level of customer service!

Really? They should surf the internet looking for people that don't call their companies' customer service for help, but instead go onto forums and openly ask 'Joe Public' for help? Let me ponder that... :eusa_think:

Nothing is free companies have to make a profit to stay in business. Cheap companies do not provide customer service. A premium is paid to get it. That is worth the money!

I've been more than happy with my experiences with PST and I think it's a real bonus for us to have a company rep that actually sounds like he knows what he's talking about, shown an interest and participation in the hobby ans is a relatively active board member.

When I had issues with some torsion bars, James helped me out. Because of him I will still buy stuff from PST. When I called the tech line they where no help. James PM'ed and then called me for us to talk about the issue.

This hobby is all about experiences. We want to enjoy working on our cars, going to car shows, the thumbs up from other drivers, the stories, the pride in ownership, I love passing modern cars. If you have a crapy experience with a company you will tell others. If that company is willing to help you out, you will also tell people about that expereince.

How much do you hear about XV? They make an awesome setup, but customer service sucks, they are not helpfull, and they don't have their kits packaged correctly to ship all the parts needed. For a while I read alot about them. Not to much now.
