Quick question....replaced the slide type calipers on my 65 Coronet..where do the rubber looking bands go?
I think they go with the clip that holds on the caliper but where not on my old setup. The came with the replacement calipers...they look like a large rubber band.

I wonder if someone at the rebuilder had a sense of humor and just tossed those in there for a joke.

72 Dusters came with small bolt pattern hubs whether they were disc or drum. The 73-76 Cars were different. The disc cars were big bolt pattern, the drum cars were all small bolt. Maybe someone did a later disc swap on that 72 at one time?

They go around the adapter where the caliper rests and they are to help keep things quiet. Now ya know, so just **** can them as they don't work and break after the first time you use the brakes.
