bolt that goes through the lower ball joints and have castle nuts on top ..what are they called and where do I get them ..thanks :edgy:

The only actual "bolts" in the lower ball joints are the ones that bolt it to the spindle

the two large bolts from the lower ball joint .....these bolts sandwich brake components together

sorry ...didn't explain the thing I'm looking for very well ..it's the 4 bolts that go thru the backing plate ..the lower ones go thru the ball joint ..need to replace those bolts think they are maybe 3/4 inches long and accept cotter pin ..thanks

So it is the two bolts that attach the lower balljoint to the spindle. I'm sure they have some strange name for the sake of the parts book, but I've no idea what that might be.

Just post an ad in the "wanted" section, and make sure you say if its for drum or disc. Don't know if there is a difference....but just in case

thanks ..... I guess there called lower ball joint bolts even though only two of the four go through the ball joint ...I'll probably get grade 8/10 bolts and make my own ...don't think I'm going to find these anywhere

yes he has 4 .. but I figure on doing both sides and for $25 I can do that....and have a very good lunch
