Front suspention help

I bought a whole new front end kit including tubular control arms from PST and im having troubles. I installed everything and took it to get an alignment and they couldnt get it properly aligned without dropping the car the front end 7 inches. they got it as close as they could but the camber and caster are still off and they lowered it about 4 -5 inches which doesnt look good. i spoke with the tech at PST and he said i put the control arms on the wrong side so i switched them the way the guy said and it just doesnt look correct. the base of the control arm below the ball joint is angled towards the front of the car and is on a hard pitch from the spindle which is pinching the boot and not allowing it to properly cover the ball joint. i just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions or any better recommendations as far as control arms go? but heres some pics! tell me if you think it looks correct.

WOW !! That doesnt look good at all .... If I were you I would just pull it off and send it to me , maybe I can use it on my 72 Charger ...hehehehe - Just kidding brother - I think the problem may lie in the spindles.....

Just a guess here - but I think the control arms WERE on the right sides , but the spindles are what needs to be swapped around..... kinda hard to tell from the pics, but that may help .....

Looks like the BJ is in a bind before the arm hits the rubber stop. Definitely doesn't look correct. Do you still have your original arms? Maybe do some comparison? Measure the distance from each bushing to the BJ on both arms to compare. I have tubular upper arms from Firm Feel mounted to late model tall spindles and they seem to be OK but I don't have anything buttoned up yet. The spindles should be symmetrical so I doubt that's the issue.

I was thinking you should check the geometry of the oem ones against the new as well, but they could be upside down.

The pics show that the arms need to be swaped. The spindles are not the problem as stated earlier I/we assume that you got these for a b body and not an a body, just checkin'. Are the alignment bolts in right, the oblong washer should point straight up on both ends.

Jack the car up, loosen torsion bolts, swap the upper arems, snug torsion bolts, gently lower your car to get some weight on it, snug the bolts some more, take jack our, bounce the front end, set desired height and have it checked again. You should not have any problem getting an alignment now, but if you do, send the arms back to pst and get another set.
