hey guys, looking for a little help here, goin to be installing a disc brake convertion just in the front of a 70 charger, and all new lines, problem is all the lines have been removed previously and not by me. I found a kit i like in classic industries. couple questions, when ordering my brake lines for the front, there are multiple options as to where the brakes where routed, If I dont know how they came on this car, will it matter which one i pick as long as i'm replacing all the lines front to back? and my other question is, the car was not power brakes, the kit comes with a booster and the correct proportioning valve for disc/drum brakes mounted right on the master, the block mounted right on the inside of the driver side frame rail, that should be replaced too as i see they offer drum or disc blocks in classic industries? thanks.

Just get the hoses applicable to your car if it had disc brakes originally.

only thing to worry about on the lines is that it bolts to the caliper and is not too long or too short.may take a little measuring, but not hard at all.run the lines from the new prop valve to the calipers and back to the splitter on the rear diff.do not use the original diverter valve(the one on the frame)at all.

This may or may not help at all.
Since you are starting from scratch sounds like you have options.
I just did a 67 B body and used the A body parts. You know calipers and spindles, etc.
I replaced all the hard lines with Advance tubing. They keep rolls in the back of the store that I made my own with. Just get the hang of making the double flaired ends.
For flex lines, use a St. Regis with the banjo fittings. Around 1980 should do it.
