For Sale:

My 1975 Bricklin SV1 project must go to allow space in the garage for a B-body. The car is very original minus the missing door skins and door panels, which happened almost 30 years ago while impounded by the local PD.

Car is one of approx. 450 Safety Orange Bricklins built, and like all 75s, is powered by a Ford 351W and FMX transmission. The suspension, brakes and rear end are all AMC, as is the front inner structure.

The car was running when I purchased it, however the front accessories have been removed from the engine to replace a leaky water pump. The rear brakes have been rebuilt and the battery is pretty new.

Dash and carpet are nice the but the "faux suede" inserts in the seats are brittle and will need to be replaced.

Additional pics available upon request, price is $3500 OBO... willing to negotiate.

Car is located South of Houston, Tx.

It has nothing to do with Buick. Bricklin is the manufacturer. It was made in Canada but not for very long. Based on an AMC Javelin chassis and with an AMC 360 in 1974 it was compared favorably to Corvette. But in 1975-76 they lost the 4-speed option and the powerplant was about 40 hp. less when they used a Ford 351 instead.

There used to be at least 4 of them running around the Vancouver area but they're seldom seen these days.

Chase383, you probably know all the clubs and sources for Bricklin parts since you own the car, but just in case, this place might have your door parts:
