That's what I chose too. Figured it would look better for longer. I ended up only using the pump to filter piece since the other part didn't work with my edelbrock carb.
The edelbrock carb does not have the proper flared inlet to let the stock style line compress and seal against the body. It basically has an open threaded hole with no taper, which makes the fuel line leak because it has nothing to compress against.
I'm 100% sure that you can get the proper pipe adapters to make it work, I just couldn't find any locally and never got back around to trying. You'll need a 'standard inverted flare adapter'. I bet Inline Tube has them.
