which fuel sending unit do i use for my 1974 roadrunner......it has a 440 in it ..it had an small block in it before i guesss??

sender only has anything to do with the guage, dosnt really care what motor is in the car.only thing some people change is the size of the feed tube comming out.you may need a bigger one if the motor is high horse, otherwise the 5/16 metal line is just fine.

so which one do i get??can i put a sender from a 72 on my rr?

match the sender to the tank and the car.unless you have a tank out of another car.

3/8" yannick. I don't know off the top of my head which came stock in a 440 (I believe a 3/8") but either way, it's better to have the bigger one than buying the 5/16" and finding out it's too small for your application.
