So, here is my issue. I removed the rallye dash on my 72 RR to work on speedo. Put everything back in place and now the temp and fuel gauges don't work. I grounded both at the senders and turned key and they didn't budge. 20 amp fuse for gauges is good, I'm getting 12 volts at tan wire out of fuse box, and at the yellow mold connector that tan wire goes to. My temp wire at cluster is getting power but the blue fuel gauge wire is getting no power. I am getting 12 volts at middle instrument voltage regular wire and 5 volts on right wire on IVR. What else can I check? I know fuel sending unit and temp sending unit are good. I suspect it's ground related. Is there someway to test IVR to make sure it's working/grounded? It worked when I took dash out and I didn't touch it. Thank you for any help.

Well, it's either + or -. The first thing I would check is the multi-prong plug on the back of the dash at the gages. 2nd, I'd push together all the related wires (from both sides with a tiny screwdriver) in the two steering column plugs. That just fixed my gages. 3rd, I'd check for ground on the little black wire running between the column & the column support, right side of column, at the bolts (4" long black ground wire) and it's continuity... heck, scrape off some paint while you're at it.

Thanks Beeper. I did all three of your suggestions, and I'm good. Not sure what it was, but it's fixed.
