I decided at the last minute to go to a Nostalgic day at Capital raceway in Md and I had fun. I thought I would be a little slower at this track but when on my first pass it spun and only went 11.02 at 121 I was mad. Ended up moving the timing around and ran 10.83 @ 124 which is about where I thought it would run as I have not changed anything since the last time out. I had backed the timing from 38 to 34 to try it so after I went back to 38 it ran the 10.83. But I redlited in the first round with a -.023 lite. And to make things worse the guy I ran hit a bad .215 lite. Ah I could have had a bad lite and still beat him. But thats drag racing as I still had a blast ! Ron

Great shot of your car launching!
Glad to hear you had fun......

Sounds like a fun day, I agree that's a cool shot of the car, that's too bad about the red light... There's always next time...

Thank you. I have a bad memory so I was wondering if you could post some pics of your car and tell us the combo. I always enjoy reading about everyone's cars and how they run. And I really enjoy racing a car that runs close to the same as me. Its just so much fun when you are coming to the traps neck and neck with someone. Course its always more fun when you win but win or lose I would rather lose a close race when running in time trails then just flat blow someone's doors off. The close one's are so much fun. Ron

Sounds like you guys are havin a ball.. good times...

Forgot to say my brother got runner up in his class with his 64 Plymouth. He dailed 10.45 and ran 10.45 three rounds in a row ! Man his car was working. He went -.002 red in the final and ran 10.47. Ron
