Anyone use non-metallic webbed hoist belting to lift an Aluminum head G2 Hemi ? I don't want to use my usual diagonal crossed chain bolted to head end boss. Instead, maybe 2" web belts cradleing under/around heads could safely work ? Any experience ideas appreciated...tom

The hemis I’ve R&R’d I’ve used a bolt on the rear passenger head and the driver front head with a 3/8 grade 80 chain .. I think you can use a strap but maybe going a little over kill and making it difficult to work on. Also if your using a carb intake manifold just use a lifting plate. It’s a 550lbs engine or less , with accy. removed.

I always remove the mag x-ram, carbs & dizzy. The relatively thin non-metallic web straps should give more non-metallic firewall to engine clearance since no protruding bolt heads involved. Looking for under cyl head hoist strapping, stable "cradle" experience advice/guidance ideas.....tom.

I used one of these....

65h,....that's a good lookin, low profile, protective "soft" around the intake sling ! Who sells that ? The concentrated heavy weights Don't Wallow out or over Stress the threaded aluminum head end boss attachment holes ?

Guys I owe you all a brain fart apology.. it was early this morning when I posted about lifting a gen 2 hemi, I was not thinking, as it was a gen 3 I was thinking .... I made it to work with no caffeine and suffered.. sorry guys!
