My new garage project. It's been a month now but around 13 days of actual work. Looking forward to them being done so I can finish the inside. I've been taking pics along the way.

Will look a lot better when my Road Runner is in there!

Very nice! What was the puddle of concrete in the middle of the floor for?

:headbang:wow very nice job ,bet you out grow it quick :headbang:

Congrats on the garage. There is nothing like pulling your project car into it for the 1st time. Pull up a chair, pop open a beer, and start imagining how you want the car to look when finished. Just don't put a TV in there, a radio yes, but no TV.

Doors and locks are in, finally was able to pull car into garage. A ton of work inside left, however.

Garage looks nice and the car looks great sitting in there. Are you going to put insulation in finish the walls or just leave it open?

It will be finished. I have to wire, coat the floor, insulate etc. I have a lot of work to do yet.

Nice addition. It's so much easier when everything is open and fresh that way you don't have to figure out what a couple of generations of shadetree electricians tried to do. good luck.

nice quick work, 2 weeks that's great good luck with all the finishing touches

Tempest nice work I am thinking about doing the same thing in the next couple months. May I ask what your budget was for this building?

Wow, that went up quick!! You're going to be very happy with that garage.

Looks very nice and wise move on some windows to check out the beautiful outside.

Thanks on the comments. It did go quick when they worked on it. You know how contractors are. They would work on it for 3-4 days, then not come back for a week. Actual build time was around 14 days. Total time, 2 months.

I'm painting the block and door this weekend. Will post up pics.

Got the outside done. Gutters, downspouts and shutters. Once it's starts getting warm in the spring I can working on it again.

It's really nice. You plan on heating it if so what kind of heat? What size is it?

Yes once I finish insulation and walls it will be heated. It's 24 x 32' for a very specific reason (would have went bigger if I could). I'm going to use my furnace from my existing garage. It'a a Modine PDP 100 I bought when I lived in a sub zero climate in the winter. It's way too much furnace for the current garage, so I will move it to the one above and replace it with a smaller unit.

I've been very happy with the Modine furnce. These models are nice because you can vent them horizontally out a wall. They light right up and never had a problem, as long as it has gas! :)
