I'am working on a 67 plymouth belvedere, the car does not have a gas tank in it. I have bought a new tank, sending unit, j-straps and bolts, and even a tank pad. The car still has the filler tube comming in from the outside going through the trunk floor down to the bottom and there looks like a smaller tube that drops through the trunk floor also. I've called around to locate the other two steel tubes that fit inside the tank going out to the other half no luck:sad: I would like to be able to get everything in place for next spring so I can drive it around. Dont laugh:rolling: to much when I say this but so far I've been having to use a 5 gal boat tank to get me around its pretty bad. Hopefully someone out there has what I need to make this right. Please send me a positive e-mail. Thanks again.. (SuperStock) James.

is the piece youre talking about the one that comes out of the grommet and a rubber elbo turns it up and ties into the fill tube. if its like 66 net i may have it. i will look tommorrow

its the same as 66 to 67 and yes its the tube that comes out of the gromet from the tank then goes into a rubber elbo which turns it upward towards the filler tube now is there a smaller one that follows the same path as the larger one I was underneth the car lastnight and noticed a small tube thats hanging down from the trunk floor right next to the filler tube I think the tank has two holes in it one small and one larger hole if thats the case I'am going to need both tubes I think the smaller one is just a vent tube but I'am probally gonna still need it to to make it all complete. Even if you only had one of the tubes that would still help me out alot. Thanks for the e-mail hope to hear back from ya soon. Thanks again. James (SuperStock).

the smaller one is made on the tank i believe. i will take a pic and see if it helps you

Heres the pics. didnt find them in the garage but will check parts car sat.

It's exactly what I need now looking at the pics I can say without a doubt that the tank has two holes in it one filler tube and the smaller one when I got the tank there was the tank ,and lock ring, sending unit. pulled the tank out of the box I didnt see any tubes fixed to the tank, just two holes, one big and one small. now looking at the pics of the smaller tube compared to mine it looks like the previous owner of my car cut mine. cause when you look at the one pic you can see it almost looks like two halfs going together instead of just one solid tube some how I got to get that smaller tube, before I do that I've got to remove the left over tube that the previous owner forgot to take out. I'll go check my tank and crawl under my car again just to make sure I didnt overlook something but I know for sure that I'am needing the bigger tube. Thanks for the pics very helpfull I'll let you know tomarrow about the other stuff. so your saying that on the tank there should be a smaller short tube fixed into the tank? I check just to make sure. Catch ya later thanks again. James (SuperStock).

I'am back and yes the tank does have a small tube made into the tank so all I need is the lager tube that goes right below it (just like in the pics) thanks again. James (SuperStock).

glad to help i will check sat. so you do have the small tube that goes thru the frame?

Do you supose it would be ok to remove the smaller tube clean it in the sand blasting cabnet then hose it down with soapy water then blow it dry with a air hose then prime and paint silver?

Hey daredevil just thought I would drop a line to see if you had a chance to look for that tank filler tube that we were talking about last week :grin:If not dont worry about if you could just let me know when you come across it that way you can let me know how much you need for it then I can send out a money order for ya. Thanks again for your help. Have a happy thanksgiving James (SuperStock).
