I am rebuilding my '72 318 and the Federal Mogul gasket kit had these in them. I can't figure out what they are for... can you? thanks in advance

For the most part they will cover a lot of Emission, Marine, Industrial, and general applications of that motor. Plus a big year range 1967 on up. I saved them for years and now unless I know I could use them I just toss them.

1 universal thermostat gasket - junk
4 thermostat gasket - save
6&7 emissions tube at heads - you don’t need
9 looks like a distributor gasket, 1969 up had an oring
10 oil drain plug gasket.

No.2 could be for a breather on the valve covers.

No.8 could be for the valve cover oil filler cap.

1) Universal thermostat gasket
2) 90 degree oil filter bolt, inner
3) 90 degree oil filter bolt, outer
4) Thermostat gasket for large thermostat
5) Harmonic balancer dust shield seal, fits over the hub and into the tin shield
6 & 7) Air injection tube gasket to rear of head
8) I've seen this, I just have CRS. Might also go with the 90 degree oil filter adapter.
9) Distributor gasket
10) Oil pan drain plug gasket
