Gen 2 Charger Stainless clips for front and rear glass

Am I right in my thinking the only place the long clips go is below the windshield? The sides, top and all the rear glass uses the short clips?

I just pulled the rear glass on my '68 and it was all short clips, if that's helpful. I'm sure the more knowledgeable types will chime in.
