My '69 RR is in need of an RF caliper and my local parts shop is having a tough time locating the right one :thinker:

It's a single piston caliper and all they seem to have listed is the 4 piston deal.

Anyone have the generic off the shelf PN for the single piston calipers?

right and left calipers are interchangeable. The only difference is how you mount the bleeder screw and the hard line.

in the 70's some companies made replacement calipers for the brakes, no part numbers. Not Factory, I bought some around 1980. They were cheaper, so there are some floating around non descript.

Oops, sorry. Just saw you are looking for the single piston. I was referring to the Bendix 4 piston set up. Can't really help you with that. Maybe get a part or casting number off of your old one?

I think the single piston caliper was first used in 1970. Perhaps someone changed yours over to the Kelsey Hayes floating type caliper. This is what are on my '70 GTX. Try Cardone 18-4065
