Our 70 RR shell has been in the rotisserie for many years now, and we are FINALLY ready to bring her back to the garage floor. Just have a few more pieces to complete the K member assembly and should be good to go.
I have a question to those that have done this part of a resto before.... is there an "easy" way to do this? Should the rear end go in first or K member? Maybe it makes no difference but any advice would be appreciated. Tks.

Put the rear end in first with wheels and tires. Now it can be moved around easier. Put the engine in the K-Frame
and lift up the front of the car and assemble it just like they did at the factory. You'll need a wooden cradle for the engine
and transmission so it will be at the right height so you can put in the four K-Frame bolts and the transmission
crossmember. You can lift the front of the car up with a 1" nylon sling and an engine hoist. and lower the car
down around the engine without scratching the paint in the engine bay.

Good advice about installing the wheels and tires, I didn't even think of that.

I grabbed these pic's off the Net, but they give you an idea about how you can go about the task!

Unfortunately the engine is not yet assembled as we are still somewhat undecided on what direction to go with it, but that’s a whole other story....

Anyways here are some pics I took a couple weeks ago

This is how I did mine....

When I put my Challenger up on the rotisserie I used two engines hoists to pick up the car high enough to mount, then rolled the car over and removed all the suspension and used the engine hoist to lift both the front and then the rear suspension's up from the body while upside down. Reassembled the same way.
