Hey All, posted up a few mo.s ago about a 509 project I have going. I am having a time of getting the push rods done. but other than the snafu with push rods all is going well. block turned out to be one of those thick main blocks that 440 source talks about on their site(440 rb) .030 over, half inch arm, scat crank&rods. the heads are small port eddy victors w/a small amount of smoothing done, the chart shows a 13to one compression,(race gas only) .590 purple shaft advanced to 103.5 CL, harlan sharp rockers, tunnel ram 2x4s two edelbrock 750s, alum water pump and housing, 8.5 qt oil pan, high volume pump, MSD ign., wires, tti 2in headers, 3800 turbo action converter, reverse pattern manual valve body, the old car already has a 44 in. dana sixty w/5.13 gear(to be changed to 4.56) and moser axles, light weight glass doors, fenders, bumpers, hood, and deck lid. I am planning a tall tire combo, 32 or 33 tall, w/cal-tracs. I havn't weighed it yet so I'm in the dark as of yet, I'll guess 3100 finished. anyway the motor is all but done and I expect it to be in the car in less than a month. then the hard part for me, wiring all that stuff up!!! wish the old man luck!! Dave. PS sure is nice to have some buddies on here. I'll try to get wyfe to post some pictures up. Dave.
