glovebox paint

Hi all-

Now that winter is here in the north,,need to work on my 66 Satellite. Does anyone know the exact color of the black on the glovebox door. My door is ok, but I was thinking about making it look new again. Anyone have any ideas?

SEM Landau Black is a very good color ... http://semproducts.com/Catalog.asp?prod=190 .. pretty durable, if applied correctly this stuff will last a lifetime ..

the black(DASH/GLOVEBOX DOOR) on my 44 year old x is getting thin--INSTEAD OF PAINTING THE WHOLE THING--i USED BUMPER BLACK-PROTECTANT TO KEEP YOUR BUMPER TRIM BLACK-USED IT LIKE STAIN AND IT TURNED OUT NICE-NOT TOO NEW LOOKING BUT NOT OLD EITHER

I USED KRYLOn rust tough SEMI-FLAT. on mine. i have pix of it in my gallery. its good tough paint. looks like brandy new. just make sure you clean all the grease and crap off with prep sol. or lacquer thinner. the semi flat looks like the original and is a good paint you can get at advanced auto. the lid of the rattle can says " semi flat" on the lid in white letters.
