What's your thoughts going from a Indy max wedge crossram or Hemi crossram and going to the indy tunnelram intake manifold.
What will be the jet change? leaner or richer or basically rhe same?
I'm trying to figure out what the fuel signals going to be.

my guess would be, it's pretty similar in fuel signal & jetting... what kind of runner length differences are there ??, between the 2 different manifolds you thinking of swapping ??.. if it's shorter runners, I would think lean it out some, if it's longer runners, then richen it some... just my 1st thought, no idea how much if even at all, especially with Eddy carbs...

It's no big deal because of my Racepak A/F meter which will give me real world numbers. Just wondering if anyone thought it might need more or less jet.

Test and tune...or dyno

It wont be on the dyno since the motor is already in the car but it will see dyno time next year with the new rebuild. Gong to more compression and bigger lift cam, the new parts are being ordered already, just waiting for November and then out it comes again.

this was my earlier thread regarding going from indy crossram to indt tunnelram. The thoughts and consensus seems to be that the signal will be different and smoother thus causing a jet change and to go leaner. In a edelbrock application, your opinion is to go 3 jet sizes down from .119 to .116
or from .116 to .113
right now in bad air i'm at .113 squared and one side of the indy crossram was a tad too rich.
I'm curious to see what the tunnelram A/F ratio is going to be.

Hopefully my intake bolts arrive tomorrow and throttle linkage from Indy. Then off to test this tunnelram.
Indy is up to their old tricks. You can't count on indy cylinder heads for anything. False promises and very high shipping rates. Glad i'm going to Stage V after this year.
Don't want to give them another penny! Arrogance is their middle name.
