Good day at the track and a surprise

The rain stayed away and we got our season opener in. The air was nothing to write mom about, but all in all a good weekend. My daughter won sportsman, very happy about that.
And.. looks like we have a new chryco competitor! Didn't have a chance to talk to him, but I believe it is a 413 in there. Beautiful car!!!

It's strange how "that" can happen. Now I don't race nearly as much as many of you, but I did get shortest tree time at our car club race. When I ran the 1/8th mile in Brainard?, (I'm almost always running 1320) I missed the light every time, almost like it was timed differently than every other track I've been to.

Another hell of a weekend!!
Sydney's running sportsman and pro now. So last race was a rain delay to this weekend, she was in final in s/m and semis in pro. Won s/m.
Next race, still Saturday, won s/m and another semis in pro.
Sunday, won s/m, pro not so good.
So three wins this weekend! On Saturday she made 16 runs. This ol Polara is is as reliable as the day it rolled off the line. Just a basic 383 running 12.60s to 12.80s .

Thanks guys! When she started Pro, I told her that's quite the uphill battle when 90% of the cars are low 10 trans brakers.
Didn't seem to fizzle her a bit.
One day over 8 runs her avg light was .029.
It's down to the old man to sharpen the car up a bit

Girls are some of the top racers around here.
At Mopar Madness last month, I got down to the last 5 in sportsman, 3 were women and one of them won the final.
I think they are able to check their egos easier, and not get as nervous.

Well she pulled it off!! Won the championship AND an Ironman !! We'll see about pro, but hopefully in the top ten.

Of course the first question to always come back up... what about a bigger moder dad??

Thanks guys. Wooks I thought that was a spare? It actually sounds more like "Dads" new motor lol! The 355 Victor's would probably be right at home on there.
