good tire combo for my 71 Charger?

Will work fine so long as you have the right backspace wheel and wide enough for the 295. That is a big tire. I always went with 275/60/15 and 225/70/15 on my 71-4 B bodies.

appreciate the response, The charger already sits a little high in the back, clearance shouldn't be an issue. just ordered them, the coopa kabray's

Just my opinion but I just don't get the skinny 70 series up front on a big car like a Charger. 275X60X15 rear and 245X60X15 front fit easily with more room available if you get fussy with offsets.

edit; the 245/60 are almost same height as 295/50, but almost 10" wide front, I'll see how I like the 215's

I ran 245/15s on all 4 corners on mine. They looked great and improved the handling & balance of the car.

I have 215/70/14 and 255 60/15 on my 73.

The rears look like that should have been the factory size.

Your car will thank you for putting enough tire on the rear to fill the wheel well.

BTW that "tacomaworld" tire size calculator is the bomb.

yep, I use that one exclusively. And fatter the tire the higher the cool meter goes
