I have been having to use Firefox to browse FBBO, because Google Chrome gives me slow speed and regularly locks up the screen for a few minutes then unlocks it.
Is there a problem with the FBBO website's compatibility with Google Chrome?

Having same problem on FABO, FBBO, FCBO, but no other websites.
Do you think it's lack of RAM?
I have cable internet and Wifi service for my house from a tower.

Are you using windows? You can open Task Manager and see what memory and cpu usage is for chrome. Also, have you tried disabling chrome extensions?

It is about 530MB for Chrome without FBBO open. It goes up to 1400MB for Chrome with FBBO open.
I have 3 extensions. Malware blocker, Adobe Acrobat, and ENO Capital 1 credit card support.
I went into Performance/Memory and selected Maximum Memory Savings.
I went into Performance/Speed. Balanced is already selected.

What makes the site laggy is all the ads. Especially the newer crop of ones that move up and down the bottom of the screen. When I visit without being logged in it's a pain in the groin. Once logged in (I am a goldmember btw) the pages load instantly with no hiccups..

Mine's OK.

Chrome update?

Probably Firefox has less ads

I ran the update. Relaunched. We'll see. Thanks!
