Yep, this is the I'll get a round tuit thread. Got a nagging lil repair you need to get done, but you just can't seem to get a round tuit till you're sorta forced to?
Post it here
For some time I've had some issues with the tail lights on my '02 Ram. Sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't. The reverse lights haven't worked in I don't know how long. Luckily you don't need working reverse lights to pass inspection in Texas.
Anyway, I had been planning to get a round tuit sooner or later, but I had my hand sorta forced the other night. I was on my way home from hearing my brother's band play. It was about 1:40 am and I had just been passed by some lunatic doing about 80 (limit was 65). Shortly after I passed a DPS car parked behind a barrier, lights off. Ans since he didn't go after the speeder I thought he was asleep. He wasn't. Anyway, I got pulled over and got a warning cause the left tail light was completely dark.....at least till I got out and whacked the side of the bed.
So I got on Rock Auto's site and found the "circuit boards" that the bulbs and wiring plug in to. Just an FYI, they cost me just under $30 for both sides including shipping, where NAPA wanted a bit OVER $31 per side. Well they arrived today, and now I have fully functional tail lights including the reverse lights.
So what's your "round tuit"
