Hello from Nashville. I've been looking for a long time, not just ready to buy until recently. Actually I have wanted one of these cars for 40+ years when I was a kid. We lived outside Detroit and my Dad worked at Chrysler, we had a number of very cool cars that made a lasting impression on me.
Just met 2 of my goals and that was, to find a very original Road Runner or Bee, and be able to drive it home. I just drove this 70 miles through the countryside of KY/TN back home.
Found a very nice '69 383 Road Runner from a great guy and his dad. Both very nice people. The car appears to be pretty close to a survivor. It's just had and exterior re-paint at one point. Drive line appears all original. Interior appears all original. Don't remember for sure but I think he said it was a 3 owner car.
I'm pretty excited about this find and my wife likes it as well, which is good. The car is so original I have plans for it other than possibly redline tires down the road.
