Hi folks, glad to make my way over here, looks like a really good site, lots of good information here, thanks, looking to spend some time in here as time is available. About me; well, I'm from NH, but been here in TX since 1995, and most likely will stay here as we've put some roots down, and my wife is from here, so, unless she kicks me out, I guess I'm staying put! My current MOPAR platform is this; 69 GTX, 69 Satellite, 70 300, 07 Charger RT, 09 Challenger SE, and my daily driver is an 02 Avalanche; definitely not a MOPAR...but if they made an Avalanche type truck, I'd buy one! (I do have my eye on the new RAMBOX edition though).

The GTX and Satellite I'm doing a rebuild/restomod on. The 300 sits needing some wiring adjustments. My grandfather gave me the 300 in 1984 which he bought new in 1970; he gleefully told me (then showed me) the window sticker with the 440 TnT option which he used to 'engage' often when I was a kid! The Satellite will be the first back on the road, and, when done, it will retain the 318 2bbl, but look awesome, and have a good sound system.

As I said earlier, I was in the Army, and, for the past 21 years I have been all over the place, and when I was 'home' where the cars were, finding time to tend to them took...well A LOT of time! I had the chance to buy a complete Plastic Media Blasting operation back in 2001 which I did, and put it on hold till I retired; which I did 2 yrs ago. So, I'm back in business as a Media Blaster serving the greater San Antonio area. So, if any of you are here in TX, let me know, I always love to get the old MOPARS in my shop!

Well, with the new MOPARS being driven by my wife and daughter, I aim to get some of the old metal up and running again, which will happen...someday, soon I hope! Take care, and I hope to check in here a few times a week to read and perhaps share something I may know a bit about?

Welcome fellow (albeit not native) Texan lol Might one inquire what sore of charge one might incur while taking advantage of your services involving...say...an A body?

(yeah yeah it's the B body site, but an A might be the next thing I do, so there ya go)

Hi, thanks for the reply, well, I welcome all business, but, don't want to piss off the B Body gods with shameless plugs, you can PM me, or go to my website and we can correspond there regarding your question...which I will welcome.

I'm a Mod, so you know I'll get all the abuse it's possible to get:rolling:

but I understand if you don't want to post something public. The car in question is for sale anyway. And if I could get through all the crackheads and liars on that other site.....I might actually SELL the car

Well, if you are a moderator, then cool! Go to www.drblast.com, you can see prices, pictures etc, there of what I do, and charge. I recommend, and advise all clients, or potential clients to do it right, the first time around, 100%! Meaning, give me the shell with no wheels, no rear or front end, no fenders or doors, qtrs on or off ok, prefer on as they add strength to car.

When I get a car this way, car on my trailer, and doors, etc in the truck, I do each item 100% inside, outside, under and sideways, anything that is not metal is coming off; paint, bondo, rust, crud, undercoating, etc. What you get back will be as brand new near as possible, and ready for paint/body repair.
