ground strap

69 roadrunner i bought a new ground strap car did not have one from firewall to back of head,is the hole on the head on the top back or down on the head, i can not feel any holes at hole,i do see a hole on the top back side of head, what size bolt that should be used for ground strap for the head? short or long bolt?thanks

Use a mirror to look for holes. Length of bolt doesn't matter as long as it doesn't bottom out. Use a 'star' washer to insure good ground at both ends.

There is a bolt hole on the top/rear of the passenger side iron head. I used a short bolt and washer on this with a braided ground strap from the head to the firewall and underneath the ECU to ground it too. Make sure to scuff the paint.
