Ground wire on steering column goes to????

On a 70 RR. What does the ground wire that connects to the steering column attach to? I ask because mine attaches to nothing....
 
mine has an eyelet and goes to the stud that holds the column up..unless you are a "purest"..ground is ground the world around...so it can work on any grounded part,stud,bolt,etc

Same here.
 
It is a jumper that provides a ground path around the white square plastic mounting blocks. One ring terminal goes to one of the mounting studs that goes through the white block. Other ring terminal goes to one of the bolts that holds the mounting plate to the column.
 
Found a pic. This is on my 72 but is the same for most Mopars
