Well,

If you havent read my issue with my 67 charger running warm Ill go ahead and let you know that Ive decided to install an auxillary/aftermarket gauge to make sure the factory gauge isnt coo coo.

Im going to install oil pressure and water temp.

My question is (and I guess its maybe for the older fellows? Im only 38) what oil pressure and water temp gauges would have been a day two mod, if you will, in 1967? Or what gauge style and face is period correct?

If I have to detract from my beautiful 47 year old interior I figure it may as well be with a retro style gauge.

Maybe some type of stewart warner?

I dont want to white faced super cool rainbow color doo dad hanging anywhere off of my 67 charger.

Thanks fellas.

I used Autometer Pro Comp Ultra Lites in mine. I made a brushed aluminum 2 gauge panel to hold them.
Sorry dont have any pics of them.

no grumble grumble...keepin' tabs on what the motor is doing is a crucial thing! and 47 year old gauges don't cut it no mo'. lol

here's mine...auto meters from summit with white faced doo dad gauges. nevermind the stupid 90's mustang tach, I have since eliminated it.

Those Stewart Warners would look correct I would say.
The ultra lites I used are silver faced, kind of goes along with the 4 big round gauge clusters in a 66-67.

trashdog 67 is absolutely correct. Stewart Warner was THE gauge and CHROME was the panel.

Whatever "style" you decide on I suggest using full sweep gauges......you get a more accurate reading with full sweep....

If you are just checking factor gauges leave them in the engine compartment and will not distract from factor dash.
