Finally got a kickdown rod after I dont know how many years! Looks much better, a lot less Redneck. Looks close. My old kickdown rod was...a rod! Thanks Dako!

I could never find the rod that connects the throttle to the kickdown assembly. I guess I never looked in the right place....

Yep! Brand new 140...6 I believe. Lots of brand new parts on an otherwise ancient motor.
 
congrats...i myself just did the same...my friend gave me his for a $100 from his 440 4bbl set up, as he went to a six pack set up.

FBBO Member Dako hooked me up with the setup. :headbang: The bracket that mounts to the intake was to narrow between the mounting holes though so I had to use my old one. I believe the setup might be for a small block. I'll make it work at this point. I still need to adjust it properly. Its in third gear by 10mph.
 
Glad you were able to make it work. Looks like a couple bucks (no where near $100)! well spent!
