You know I'm a fan of the '73-'75 Grand Ams. I was always happy the car flew under the radar. Now Hagerty has called it out as one of the few cars that have appreciated. There are some Mopars in there too.

The first year that they came out I was working at a body shop next to Midway Airport on 63rd street.
(No Names Please!) A white Grand-Am came in from an insurance company as a recovered theft.
Cranberry red interior as I remember. front seats were gone, floor console, radidio, and wheels/tires.
I started calling around for parts and there were none to be found! Still building them on the assembly
line so there was nothing! Oh No! My Boss came up to me a couple of days later and asked me if I could
come in at 4am the next morning and open up? I said "Sure"He told me to take what we needed and
let the tow truck driver take it away. Glad we didn't get that one back to fix!
