I like it, but then again anything is better than chrome. I like aluminum accents peeking through a black wrinkle finish myself. The mopar performance line and some of the edelbrock lines.
The matte black does look good, but I still like the before pic better. I guess I'm just a chrome kind of guy. The more the better.:sunny: :glasses9: You may be right about it being an 80's thing. That's about the time that I started dressing up my engines.
I kind of like both, but I personally prefer machine finish, natural, buffed or even polished "Aluminum" the best myself, over chrome &/or paint... it looks good in there thou... nice & clean look, especially if you have other black accents on the car...
