I was hoping that some one that has a 400 motor in a cordoba, could put up some pictures how the hard fuel line routes down from the carburetor to fuel filter. Mine is rubbing against the inner belt. And if you could, show a picture of the belts on the main shaft. I did some work on the alternator and change the fuel filter, the hard fuel line was rubbing on the the inner belt after I was done. I done something wrong I'm at a lost to fix it. You guys help will be appreciated.

I just changed the fuel filter on my 1976 360. The FSM seems to show the routing for the fuel lines on the 400 and 360 are very similar. I had make sure the little pieces of fuel line that connect the steel line from the fuel pump to the filter and the steel line from the carb to the filter were not too long. I had to make mine shorter that the ones I took off, otherwise the filter and line would be too far away from the block and could get in the way of the belts. The end of the tubes on the filter seem to almost touch the ends of the fuel lines. Good luck, hope this helps.
