Curious as to thoughts on anyone who has installed full quarters on a 70. Just finishing a pair on a 69 and they were a pretty major headache to fit right especially in the tail light sections. Curious if the 70's fit better due to the different tail panel. I will have to address the qtr's on the 70 just interested in your thoughts on the fitment of the full qtrs.

Thanks in advance

I put on a set. They were a real pain to get the tail light area right where the quarter extensions bolt on. They aren't near as crisp or defined as the originals but I got'er dun!

I will let you know how mine go in a few weeks, just got mine on the frame jig

Thanks, I am eagering watching your thread, excited to see it back from the dip.

I also have read Hemirunner's build 3 times.

My feedback on the 69 is this
Door gap seemed to sit pretty good and quick
Rear window corner- Had to slice and move, contour on drivers side does not match either rear window trim I have so Had to manipulate it.
Trunk drop offs are very hard to get to match up with the qtr. When they are set to match the trunk exactly they are short of the lower lip on the qtr, I got is to work but had to stretch them so to speak.
Rear tail light sections do not match no matter what you do. The contour is not exact to the extensions.

All that said I still am hard headed enough to do them again in the summer when I plan on tackling metal on the 70.
