The hose does not fit between the bracket and the head.
Is this the correct PS pump?
If not, what one should I have?
Thoughts?

As always, thanks everyone. :)

Thanks for the feedback pnora, it's much appreciated. The brackets are from CVF. I changed to a newer style AC from them and changed the PS bracket at the same time. They do have a PS pump as well and I do see it have the hose routed around the bottom of the pump as opposed to behind like on my pump.

Dont they include instructions. Post a link to the kit you are using.

Here are a couple of photos from mine. Running a 77 motor home 440. Got the pump, brackets, and bolts from a similar one I found in a junkyard.

Something to consider is what waterpump housing you are using. If this is a factory big block car it will have a passenger side lower hose, (73 and up vs 72 and down) if you have a drivers side lower, it's not a factory set up. Not that big a deal, but you have to use the bracket that fits the housing because they are different.

UPDATE SOLUTION FOUND:
Thanks for all the helpful posts!
With them and talking to CVF Racing I purchased a replacement PS pump with the hose relocated to the side of the reservoir and this fit. I still have to get a longer low pressure hose as it is now a bit longer than before but this is readily available locally.
