Anyone run the Mr. gasket 1135g. Was wondering if it had bigger water ports. instead of the horizontal slits

Never used them, I like cometic. Jegs and Summit has them.

What would be the negative side to running a steel gasket vs a fel pro blue gasket. And would you get better cooling with the mr. gasket what looks to be bigger water openings. Thanks

I don't see a down side to either steel shim or composite. I match the gasket to the bore size and quench distance (if there is any). whether the larger slots cool better or not may be debatable; don't have a definitive answer.
