Just bought my ticket to the Turkey Run this weekend down at Daytona Beach, and just plan on hitting up the swap meet for a 8 3/4 sure-grip chunk and some other odds and ends. I'm wondering if the prices will be reality checked or dreamer levels? :)

I just met up with YY1 last weekend to trade some Rallye wheels and tires for an E-body 8 3/4, and couldn't help but feel a bit of yearning for the good old days of this hobby when swap meets were guys rolling up in their cars, opening their trunks, and trading parts with other owners, i.e., a real swap meet and not a parts sale disguised as a swap meet. Those were the days!

The last day will be the cheapest, but less to choose from too... people don't usually want to haul the stuff back home, if they are real sellers anyway... Mostly Old Parts And Rust, sorry I can't help myself sometimes, I'm not sure about that specific swap meet, I've never been there, it seems to me, that these days, some sellers believe, that their "old rusty parts are considered, worth their weight in gold" thou... IMHFO you can thank E-Scam & Craigslist for allot of the inflated pricing, or price gouging... But opinions will vary vastly thou... Good luck finding what you need for a reasonable price...

Have you been to the spring one?

It's been about 1/3 the size of the November one the past few years.

Typical percentages of Mopar vs the rest (about 10%).
