It's funny that a fun road trip for my buddies and I involves driving ten hours to an auto wrecker. The truth is that my friend bought a '63 Dodge wagon in Portland and I volunteered to be his wing man. It is not coincidental that I join this rag tag band of gear heads and the fact that Portland is a mecca of awesome brew pubs and micro breweries.

We've already convinced the Wagons of Steel gang from Vashon Isl to drive down and meet us. Is there anyone in the Portland area interested in meeting up and grabbing a pint or showing off your garage to some fun loving and slightly inebriated Canadians who also happen to be obsessed with Mopar wagons. {That last statement may be more of a deterrent than anything else.)

Sounds like a fun trip Pat. Hope you guys get some decent weather. Let us know what you think about Wildcat.

You'll have fun at Wildcat (I have when I've gone there) but bring $$$ 'cause his prices are a bit on the high side, IMO.

Wildcat is way over priced and I have thrown away what they tried to sell me so it's buyer beware. .... BUT...... Some of the best beer in the country is brewed right here in Oregon so ... you will enjoy that part :)

Sounds like a great trip, spend time with people/your Mopar Wagon gang...LOL... that all have common interests, If I lived near there, I would be there for brew or 2, with all of your gang... Have fun & Happy Parts Hunting...

Yah, I'm looking forward to just road trippin' with the boys. I'm aware that Wildcat is on the spendy side but if they have that one piece that you've been searching for for years then I justify the $$. On the other hand I have no intention of spending $50.00 on a random cop car dog dish. I'm mostly going for the eye candy and maybe some instagram fodder.

I LOVE road trips to new or obscure JYs.

Enjoy.

They do have some stainless pieces but will get top dollar for them... but its totally understandable that sometimes you have to pay a bit for what you need. I've bought from them for the Sport Satty... 75/piece for the faux brake vent trim .... which I didn't think was to bad... but 400 for a rusted and looked to be rotted brace section wasn't appealing ....
