Headlight bucket install 1969 Roadrunner

I am installing the headlight buckets on my 69 Roadrunner. I bought a parts kit and figured out where most of the parts go. some parts I don't know where they go, unless it is a universal kit and they just throw in parts for different applications. I am not sure of the installation of the springs. I believe they probably twist into the hole but not sure. anybody have advice or pictures?

Here's the headlight buck install on my '69 RR, Drivers side.




The buckets are high/low beam and side specific. Look on the edge lips of the buckets. You'll see "HI/LO" for your low beams and "HI" for your high beams. A "R.T." will signify right side, "L.T." will signify left side.





Springs are held in with a small sheetmetal screw, you'll see the hole....good luck

That makes sense what the screws were for. There were 3 metal brackets in the kit that look like they would fit in the holes where the nylon adjusters push into. do you know what these are for?

so, do the nylon pieces push in from the back side then you put the metal clip on the front side?

No, just pop them in from the front. The pic above shows the screw going in the wrong side (just assembled so not to lose any parts/pieces). Push the nylon/metal clip together (like the one in the lower left corner of the pic) and pop them in. I don't remember having to pop the in from the backside, don't know if that's even possible.
